IEEE Photonics Society (PS) Sweden Chapter and PhotonicSweden are co-organizing an OptoPub in Kista/Stockholm. This time the OptoPub will be an on-site event only on 14-Dec-2023 with presentations by Anastasiia Andriievska (Dept. Computer Science, RISE) on “Quantum Integrated Information Theory & Quantum Neuromorphic systems”, Dr. Laia Ginés (Dept. Smart Hardware, RISE) on “The rise of Quantum Technologies: From Quantum Computing to Secure Quantum Communication”, and Dr. Max Widarsson (CEO, SLF-Svenska Laserfabriken AB) on “Entangled Photon Pair generation with periodically poled crystals”.

The IEEE-PS Sweden Chapter will also take the opportunity to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the Chapter.

After the presentations, pre-registered participants will be invited for mingle with food and drinks sponsored by IEEE-PS-Sweden through an IEEE-PS Annual Chapter Grant. A cake will also be served as part of the commemoration of the Chapter’s 10-year Anniversary.
