The EDS Germany Chapter of the IEEE Germany Section organized a webinar with Yang Chai from Department of Applied Physics, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The webinar took place on June 5th 2020.

The webinar was entitled: “Optoelectronic devices for neuromorphic vision sensors and count 6 participants. Dr. Yang Chai is an Associate Professor in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He was the Chair of IEEE Electron Device and Solid-State Circuit Hong Kong Chapter, and is serving the vice president of Physical Society of Hong Kong. He is a member of The Hong Kong Young Academy of Sciences, and an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer in Electron Device Society. He received Early Career Award from the Research Grant Council of Hong Kong, and Young Scientist awards in the 5thICON 2DMAT and Semiconductor Science and Technology. He has published over 100 papers, including Nature, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Communications, Science Advances, IEEE International Electron Device Meeting (IEDM), etc. His research interest is low-dimensional materials for the emerging memories and computing devices.
