Meet our Speakers

Mr. Godspower Ezuzu

 Godspower Ezuzu is the founder and Director of the prestigious Enerplaz Group of Companies.

He has over 12 years experience in renewable energy. Mr Ezuzu, a retired Shell Staff, is a pioneer in renewable energy application for his visionary approach, patented innovations. high profile networking, and for concluding thousands of renewable energy mini-grid projects and solar backup solutions.

Mr Ezuzu founded Enerplaz Engineering in 2012 to cater for the renewable energy needs of Nigerians.  Over 5000 projects covering solar street lighting, solar water heating, solar water pumping, solar electrification, solar refrigeration and air conditioning have been completed.  Mr Ezuzu holds a Master’s degree from Curtin University, Australia and B.ENG Mechanical from  the University of Benin.

Engr. Dr. Promise Elechi

Engr. Dr Promise Elechi received his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, Choba, Rivers State, Nigeria in 2006 and 2011 respectively.

He obtained PhD in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria in 2019. He is a corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), the International Association of Engineers (IAEng), the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), the Nigerian Institute of Electrical/Electronic Engineers (NIEEE), and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He is also a registered practising Engineer with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). Between August 2018 and October 2019, He was the consultant to Nigeria’s House of Representatives committee to investigate the health implications of mounting GSM masts close to buildings. Dr Elechi has 68 research publications in reputable journals across the world. He has more than 175 citations on google scholar.

His current research interest is in Radio Propagation for Mobile Communications, GSM Technology, Microwave Propagation, Signal Analysis, NanoTechnology and Embedded systems. He is at present, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Rivers State University, Port Harcourt, Nigeria and the Head of the Computer Engineering Department, Rivers State University, Port Harcourt.
