Opening Remarks: Was done by Engr. Azuka Jude Ofogu (event coordinator) using the provided slides, also as planned. All the programs for the Event were successfully delivered at the Amphitheater of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology in Port Harcourt. The event was fully subscribed and we had the 182 allocated tickets sold out and others on the waiting list. However, the total number, of the 182 registered who checked in before the close of registration at 1pm was 110, but we had about 180 persons in attendance. Overall the responses from participants were positive and very encouraging, to say the least. Also of note is the support from the IEEE Nigeria Section ,the Vice Chancellor of the Rivers State University, Prof. Christopher Ahiakwo, Dr. Sunny Orike and Staff and students of the Electrical Engineering department of University.
