The main goal of the IEEE ITSS Annual European Chapters Meeting is to provide support to local communities and encourage technological innovations in the area of intelligent transportation systems including but not limited to: the establishment and moderating a forum for the knowledge exchange between universities, industry, and research institutes, support to the formation of interest groups as a base for common research projects and cultivation of a professional network with the European cities.

The program is coordinated via the IEEE ITSS EU Chapters (Austrian, Cypriot, German, Italian, and Spanish) and will pay travel expenses up to €500 EUR for travel expenses to attend as per IEEE travel regulations.

In 2022, the Spanish Chapter will host the first edition of this meeting. During the meeting, attendees from students, young professionals, and experts can give presentations on their recent publications and get feedback from their peers. In addition to invited keynote speeches and other networking opportunities to bring the members together and brainstorm new ideas for the future.

Submit your application by September 30, 2022, to compete for participation in the
2022 Annual European Chapters Meeting of IEEE ITSS. A dedicated committee will evaluate all the received applications according to the interest of the topic for the intended audience!

Agenda

The meeting starts at 9.30 at the Campus of Puerta de Toledo ( Madrid city center) of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Check the location here. Registration is Open from 9.00.

Please note that the meeting will have two rooms. From 9 until 13 (lunch break) at 1.A.01 from 15.00 at 1.A.011.

Each presentation for the technical program will last 10-12 minutes, plus a 5 minutes question period. 

A post-meeting dinner is scheduled at Masia de Jose Luis (P.º de la Prta del Ángel, 3, 28011 Madrid, Spain). The Organization will provide transport from the conference site, starting at 19.30.
