IEEE Micro-Mouse Competition

Bldg: Library, Damour, Mechref, Damour, Lebanon, Lebanon, 00000

The Micro-Mouse competition is a thrilling event where small robotic mice compete to solve a 3m x 3m maze. The competition has been around since the late 1970s and is popularly hosted in various countries, including the UK, USA, Japan, Singapore, India, South Korea, and Sri Lanka. The robots in the competition are fully autonomous and must find their way from the maze's starting point to the finish point. The mice must explore the maze, map out the paths, detect walls, and find the optimal route from the start to the finish. This competition will have two categories - Elementary and Senior. The Elementary category is for students under 15 years old, and they will compete in different mazes with varying difficulty levels. The Senior category will also compete in different mazes, and the difficulty level will increase from one maze to another. Agenda: The winner of the first place will receive a prize of $300, the second-place winner will receive $200, and the third-place winner will receive $100. Additional prizes include Best Design, Innovation, Rising All-Stars, and Best Algorithm. The registration fee for IEEE Members is $10, and for Non-IEEE Members, it is $15. The registration fee includes breakfast and lunch. To register, please complete the form and click on submit. Payment can be made through Wish Money to Mr. Ahmad Sharara 81/047743 or by OMT. If two members in a team are aged more than 15, the team is obliged to participate in the senior category; otherwise, the team should participate in the Elementary category. Machine Learning Workshop Series – Part 2

Virtual: https://events.vtools.ieee.org/m/419924

[] Proud to announce our collaboration with Elie Dina, a data scientist and NLP Engineer, in a series of sessions about Machine Learning 🤖. Data science, a revolutionary field joining knowledge in Math 🧮, CS 💻 and Business 💰, is making great steps towards the future nowadays. To introduce you to this field, a hands-on 🤝 webinar will be made just for you! Going from the data science lifecycle onto different Machine Learning models💻that can help you achieve basic and complex tasks ✅. This webinar will be divided into 4 sessions. Join us for the SECOND session 🤩 This session will introduce you into regression 📉📈 How continuous data vary based on different variants that surround us? We're going to discuss --> Simple Linear Regression --> Multiple Linear Regression --> Polynomial Regression --> Regularization techniques --> How to validate a model --> Other fun techniques as well...
