Hack Your Mind: Innovate for Wellness and Mental Health As part of the Wellness and Mental Health Week (https://ua.edu.lb/en/events/wellness-and-mental-health-week-fourth-edition), (https://ua.edu.lb/en/events/wellness-and-mental-health-week-fourth-edition) themed Beyond War: Nurturing Your Well-being in an AI-driven World, held at Antonine University (UA) from March 10 to 15, 2025, we are excited to introduce Hackathon 2025 in partnership with Upscale Hub, TICKET Lab, and UA IEEE. About the Hackathon The hackathon, titled Hack Your Mind: Innovate for Wellness and Mental Health, aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 9, (https://ua.edu.lb/sdg-projects/what-are-the-17-sdgs-and-how-is-their-impact-visible-in-lebanon#:~:text=SDG%209%3A%20Industry%2C%20Innovation%2C%20and%20Infrastructure) focusing on resilient infrastructure, promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization, and fostering innovation. We aim to explore the interconnectedness between technology and mental health, encouraging forward-thinking initiatives in the tech space. The winning product will be collaboratively developed with Upscale Hub, leveraging their expertise and resources to bring the vision to life. About Upscale Hub and TICKET Lab Upscale Hub, a dynamic spin-off from UA, delivers tailored tech solutions while fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and talent development. By bridging academia and industry, it enables students and graduates to gain hands-on experience through real-world projects, supporting sustainable growth. (https://upscale-hub.com/) TICKET Lab, a research unit at UA’s Faculty of Engineering and Technology, advances interdisciplinary studies in information and communication technology. Through collaborative projects and knowledge transfer, it promotes scientific discovery and strengthens partnerships with academic and industrial stakeholders. Event Details Dates: March 12–15, 2025 Location: Antonine University, Hadat–Baabda Campus, Fr. Louis Rohban Hall Target Audience: All Lebanese university students Team Composition: 2 to 4 students (one group per university) Prizes Standout teams will be recognized based on creativity and effectiveness. The winners will receive: First Prize: $1,000 Second Prize: $500 Third Prize: $250 Co-sponsored by: Upscale Hub, TICKET Lab Agenda: Important Dates Submission Deadline: February 23, 2025 Selection of Teams: The final 12 teams will be selected by jury members based on submitted information. Hackathon Schedule Over three days, from March 12 to 14 (8:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily), teams will collaborate and be mentored by experts from the engineering field to develop innovative tech solutions aimed at enhancing wellness and mental health. Closing Ceremony: On March 15, starting at 8:00 AM, a panel of judges will evaluate the solutions presented by each team through a demo and a 20-minute PowerPoint presentation.
