In order to promote ICT industry technology certification, develop ICT industry talent and a strong ecosystem, Huawei would like to invite Universities to participate in the“Huawei ICT Competition Middle East 2019-2020”.

This contest is an excellent opportunity for the students to apply their lessons from the classroom to a real world situation.

Huawei ICT Competition covers ICT fields such as Routing & Switching, WLAN, Security, AI, 5G and Cloud Computing.

The registration is available until first week of October.

Learning materials:

After registration, students will gain access to the Huawei ICT Academy online portal for learning.

Preliminary

After registration, students are requested to do a preliminary online exam in the university that they are registered in.

The preliminary exam is 60 questions (Single Answer, Multiple Answers , True/False).The preliminary exam will be in 7th -10th October.

National Exam:

Only 20 students, from the total number of students registered will be selected at this stage.

The National Exam will be on our simulator (eNSP).

The national exam will be in 3rd -7th November.

Regional Exam:

Winners of the national finals will get tickets to Huawei Headquarters in Shenzhen to participate in the final stage of the competition 28th November.

The grand prize will be 30 000 $.

Huawei Certification Study Incentive

Huawei ICT competition applicants will receive a Free HCIA Exam Voucher：

  • Complete 10 or more hours of online learning
  • Accumulate 80+ points for the online test
  • Redeem voucher by 31st Dec, 2019

Competitors who achieved Huawei Certification will receive one time Additional Points on the Score:

  • National Final—50 additional points
  • National Preliminary— 100 additional points

Only HCIA or higher certified would be qualified to enter the Regional and Global Final. 

Lebanon teams won the 1st prize in 2017 and the 2nd prize in 2018 in the Regional competitions.
