Summer School of Information Engineering SSIE2024

SSIE 2024 – School Program

School dates: Monday 08 – Friday 12 July, 2024.

SSIE is jointly organized by the IEEE Italy and the Department of Information Engineering (DEI) at the University of Padova. In line with the school tradition, SSIE 2024 will cover very timely and cutting edge research areas, covering theory, systems and applications within the broad ICT domain.

The PhD School will feature tens of scientific talks and lectures, social events, plenty of fine food, relaxation and hiking in the alps! And for the first time in its history, the registration fee to SSIE 2024 will cover coffee breaks and lunches for all the 5 days of the school.

We are looking forward to a great event, where PhD students will have a unique opportunity to meet and discuss among themselves and with professors. The technical program is exciting, we can’t wait to meet again this year in July, in the beautiful Brixen 🙂

The school will award a 5 ECTS credits upon passing an evaluation on the topics covered by the lessons.

This year, SSIE 2024 will have two tracks:

  • Track 1, focusing on modern machine learning and optimization (theory and algorithms) for future wireless networks;
  • Track 2, focusing on GaN-based devices and systems for energy efficiency and automotive
