Webinar abstract: The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in important changes in all domains of everyday life, including work. The measures taken to control the pandemic (e.g., closing businesses and industries, telework) resulted in abrupt changes in working conditions and in the way work is experienced. On the one hand, many employees and professionals were faced with high levels of insecurity regarding their work-related future. On the other hand, a significant number of employees had to deal with demands related to working from home, such as learning new technologies and balancing work and personal life. Attempts to adapt to this new reality were found to associate with feelings of strain and stress. In this talk, the changing conditions that employees need to adapt to, and their potential consequences will be discussed. Also, we will focus on specific strategies that can be adopted to prevent well-being impairments.  These mainly concern coping strategies, strategies related to goal achievement, and strategies related to changing the work environment.
