The IEEE Women in Engineering (WiE) Student Branch Affinity Group of Democritus University of Thrace in Xanthi, was established in 2004 dedicated to promoting women in the field of technology and science. With the main purpose of inspiring young children to follow their academic interests in a career in STEM fields, continues its vision even more vigorously and focuses on the combination of diverse and innovative ideas. WiE DUTh SBAG’s operations include, but are not limited to: Annual teams & Working groups, Webinars, Seminars, Workshops, Projects, Competitions, Social Events & Activities.
