The IEEE Zambia Section is a professional association for electronic and electrical engineers and computer scientists in Zambia. It was established in 2005 and has since been involved in various activities aimed at promoting the advancement of technology in Zambia.

The section initially started as a sub-section under the South Africa Section, but it was later granted full section status in 2010. Since then, IEEE Zambia has been actively involved in various technical and professional activities aimed at advancing knowledge in the field of engineering and technology.

Over the years, IEEE Zambia has organized several workshops, seminars, and conferences aimed at providing a platform for knowledge sharing and capacity building. The section has also been involved in various community outreach programs aimed at promoting STEM education and inspiring the next generation of engineers and scientists.

 

In addition, IEEE Zambia has been involved in various international collaborations and partnerships aimed at promoting the exchange of knowledge and expertise. The section has also established relationships with various government agencies and industry partners aimed at promoting the growth and development of the engineering profession in Zambia.

Today, IEEE Zambia Section is a vibrant community of professionals dedicated to advancing technology and improving the lives of people in Zambia and beyond.
