“Exciting news! The 2024 edition of the R8 “Student Paper Contest” is well underway! After many successfully held local SPCs at the SBs or Sections level, we’ve received a total of 34 submissions, with 32 deemed valid.

Our international jury is now evaluating the papers, and the selection of five finalists is on the horizon. Stay tuned, as we’ll be announcing the finalists’ decision around mid-March!

The oral finals are set to take place during the MELECON 2024 conference in the beautiful city of Porto, Portugal, from June 25th to 27th. Don’t miss out on the excitement!”
