The 5th IEEE Romanian Summer School of Antennas, Propagation, and RFID Applications was held in Cluj-Napoca between 4th and 6th of September 2023. The event was sponsored by the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society and by the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, respectively. It was technically supported by the IEEE Romania Section – AP-S/CRFID Joint Chapter, and by the Romanian Association on Antennas and Propagation.

Two distinguished guests from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, Germany gave invited talks: Prof. Michael KUHN, and Mus’ab YÜKSEL, PhD student.

We are grateful to all the members of the Research Group in Radiocommunications at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, led by Prof. Tudor Palade, Chair of the IEEE Romania Section – AP-S/CRFID Joint Chapter, for their involvement in organizing another successful summer school. Special thanks to Dr. Paul Dolea, for the hands-on workshops hosted by the Training Center in Space Technologies Center at Marisel, surrounded by a beautiful natural environment.
