The IEEE UOM student branch was revitalised in December 2019. Its goal is to help encourage Mauritian students to participate in local and international exchanges, awards and competitions in the field of computing, engineering, science, mathematics and technology.

UOM Science Show was held at the University of Mauritius campus between 17-Feb-2020 and 20-Feb 2020. Our IEEE UOM Student branch officers met with over 600 students hailing from different colleges throughout Mauritius to showcase IEEE and its different potential benefits towards the society.
