About section

IEEE Lithuania Section was officially established in 2004. Before that were individual members of IEEE organization. There are three chapters in IEEE Lithuania Section:

• Antennas and Propagation / Electron Devices / Microwave Theory and Techniques (AP/ED/MTT) Joint Chapter
• Signal Processing /Computational Intelligence Society / Communications (SP/CIS/COM) Joint Chapter
• Education (E) Chapter

   
The first student branch among the Baltic countries – Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) Student Branch – was established in 2002.

At the end of 2012 Graduates Of Last Decade (GOLD) Affinity group was established.
