The Open University, and a joint sponsorship between IEEE Libya Control Systems and Signal Processing Joint Societies Chapter and the (IEEE) Tunisia section, for the first time in the history of Libya, intends to organize IEEE 1st Maghreb Meeting of the International conference on Sciences and Techniques of Automatic control and computer engineering (MI-STA’2021). This forum will be held, with the Almighty’s permission, in Radisson Blu Al Mahary Hotel - Tripoli, from 25 to 27 May 2021, and all papers that will be accepted will be published in the IEEE Explore. Presintation Around IEEE At Azzaytuna University

Dr. Nasar Aldian Shashoa gave a presentation about IEEE organization, on Sunday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm in Azzaytuna University, Tarhunah, sponsored by  the Faculty of Engineering. Large group of teaching staff, BSc students, MSc students and other visitors from neighboring education and research institutions who are interested in this field attended this presentation. In this presentation, definition, aims of IEEE organization was discussed; in addition to IEEE membership benefits was demonstrated. Many of the attendees asked questions about this organization, the benefits of membership, and about publishing in IEEE journals and conferences.
