The IEEE Lebanon Biomedical Student Competition (LBSC 2021) serves as a catalyst for the evolution of Biomedical Engineers in Lebanon. Students from various educational institutes will have the chance to demonstrate their projects, achievements, and most importantly their acquired skills in relation to all areas of Biomedical Engineering. LBSC proposed by the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society Lebanon Chapter will be organized by the Islamic University of Lebanon at Werdanyeh Campus on Friday August 6, 2021. Engineers and Scientists from different Lebanese Universities are invited to submit their applications forms by August 6, 2021. These applications should be submitted to the contact persons listed below. A scientific committee will review all submitted applications to select the best projects to be presented in the competition. Each university proposes the best final year projects in the area of biomedical engineering and all related areas. LBSC2021 will take place on Friday, August 6, 2021 at the faculty of engineering, Islamic University of Lebanon, Werdanyeh Campus. LBSC2021 program will include a plenary speech by an invited speaker about innovation in the area of biomedical engineering. The competition will include a keynote lecture related to advanced research in Biomedical Engineering. Each group will have a ten minutes presentation about their project’s main ideas and novel components. Then, all groups will display posters and live demonstrations of the projects will be in the exhibition for a committee to evaluate. At the end of the competition, valuable awards will be distributed to the best top teams.
