Digital Literacy for remote and underprivileged communities – session #1
American University of Technology, Al Kurah Campus, Dahr El Ain, Lebanon, LebanonThe main objectives of the training session: - Improve participants' digital literacy skills - computer/Internet navigation, basic software proficiency. - Foster an inclusive learning environment, including Lebanese underprivileged citizens, Syrian/Palestinian refugees, and women. - Raise awareness about online security risks and best practices to protect personal information and promote safe online behavior. - Enhance participants' digital communication skills, including email etiquette, social media engagement, and responsible online communication. - Equip participants with the ability to troubleshoot common digital issues and seek online resources for self-help. - Prepare participants to continue their digital literacy journey beyond the course, emphasizing the importance of lifelong learning.
