DL Kerem Camsari
Messina, April 17th, 2024

On April 17th, prof. Kerem Camsari, from the University of California Santa Barbara, USA, one of the 2024 Distinguished Lecturers of the IEEE Magnetics Society, gave his lecture in Messina, at the Aula Magna of the University Rectorate. For more information, contact the chair Vito Puliafito.
The title of his DL is “Probabilistic Computing With p-Bits: Optimization, Machine Learning and Quantum Simulation“.

Workshop “Micromagnetic modeling and spintronics”

DL S.N. (Prem) Piramanayagam
Torino, June 26th and Milano, June 28th, 2024

The IEEE MAG Italy Chapter hosts the 2024 Distinguished Lecture prof. Prem Piramanagayam, from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.
Prof. Piramanayagam will give his DL firstly in Torino, on June 26th, at the National Institute of Metrology, with the local organization led by Paola Tiberto, vice-Chair of the Chapter.
On June 28th, the DL will be given at the Politecnico di Milano, with the local organization of Christian Rinaldi, member of the Chapter. The same day, Vito Puliafito, Chair of the Chapter will present the Chapter activities and promote the membership.
The title of the DL is “Brain-Inspired Computing Using Magnetic Domain Wall Devices“.
