DR.SHERIN YOUSSEF

Chair

Prof. Sherin Youssef received her PhD degree from University of Nottingham UK, 2004, in Computer Intelligent Systems. She received her BSc and MSc degrees from University of Alexandria, Egypt, on 1993 and 1996 respectively. She is currently the head of computer engineering departments at Arab Academy for Science and Technology, Egypt. She is an IEEE Senior member and the Chair of IEEE "Women In Engineering" Egypt Section. In 2021-2022, she has been participated as the Chair of IEEE WIE Alex Subsection. She is a senior member and organizing Committee member of many International Advisory boards, conferences and workshops. She is a Co-Chair of various International conferences and participated in steering committees of many international boards. She supervised more than 60 students for their Master and PhD degrees and has many joint research projects with highly international universities. She is currently working on various projects related to academia & industry and leading many regional and international research groups. She received many awards in recognition to her outstanding research , administrative services and remarkable community services.

Assoc. Prof. Rania Swief received her B.Sc. degree from Electrical Power and Machine Department, Ain Shams University, M.Sc., and Ph.D. also from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt on 1998, 2004, and 2010 respectively. Ph.D. was in the area of Deregulated market and price load market relations. Contributed in many papers nationally and internationally She is an IEEE senior member, one of the board members of IEEE ‘Women in Engineering’ Egypt Section, and supervisor on the IEEE ECU student branch. She is an associate professor from 2018 in Ain Shams Faculty of Engineering, electrical power and machine department. She is a member in the CIRED Egypt section. She has many publications in local and international conferences. Supervised many Ph.D. and Master degrees in the areas of Smart grid, Protection, Deregulated market and Renewable Energy. Her Fields of Interests lie in Power System Analysis, Planning, and Renewable Energy.

Dr.Eman Azab

Associate Professor Dr. Eman Azab, German University in Cairo. Dr. Azab studied B.Sc. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (with honors) from Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University in 2006. M.Sc. and PhD degrees in Electronics Engineering from German University in Cairo, in 2008 and 2012. She did a post-doc fellowship at Technical University of Darmstadt from 2013-2015 working in ion-beam diagnostics at GSI Helmholtzzentrum in Germany. Dr Azab teaches various topics in analog, mixed signal electronics and electrical engineering since 2016. She is an IEEE senior member. Dr. Azab leads and is part of multiple research teams in the fields of sensor technologies, IC design, and Industry 4.0. She has numerous publications at well recognized international conferences and journals in the field
Assistant Prof. Maggie Mashaly received the B.Sc. degree in Information Engineering & Technology (with highest honors) and the Masters degrees in Networking from the German University in Cairo, Egypt, in 2010 and 2011, respectively. She received her Ph.D. degree in the area of Cloud Computing and computer networks from the University of Stuttgart, Germany in 2017. She is a Senior IEEE member and a board member in the IEEE Women in Engineering Egypt section. She holds the position of Assistant Professor at the German University in Cairo teaching various topics in Machine Learning, Data Engineering and Computer Networks. Dr. Mashaly leads multiple research times in the fields of Cloud Computing, Edge Computing, Machine learning and Industry 4.0, has numerous publications at well recognized international conferences and journals in the field and also acts as a reviewer and program committee at many of them.
